"Men are not confused by the events, but by the interpretation which they make." Epictète
For several years, the integrative approach is gradually imposing in the world of psychotherapy. It is in this light that I propose different therapeutic tools to my patients, allowing work on several levels.
To acquire long-term change, it is important, in my view, to allow an elaboration or rewriting of the past by EMDR, Hypnosis or work on the subparts of the personnality for example. But, daily attention to oneself is also essential to realize the activation of certain beliefs, cognitive blinders, feelings or behavioral habits.
To go into therapy is to be willing to deal with painful events, it is choosing to test new ways of being and find meaning to overcome our fears.
It is to give oneself the chance to liberate from its own prison.
Whatever our course, it is never too late to rewrite history and to live in the moment with more awareness and serenity.
The approaches used are concrete and generate a comprehensive work on oneself:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)
- Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
- Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
- Hypnosis / Hynotherapy
- Cognitive defusion
- Work on sub-parts of the personality (Theory of Structural Dissociative Personality)
- EMDR for children
